Happy Anniversary to us!

This past Friday, Sept. 12th was our 10th anniversary and what a way to celebrate in Jamaica!  Good times!  Look at how happy we be!

Katie is Scuba Steve!

Congrats to Katie for successfully going on her first dive while we were in Jamaica!  She and I took a short class, practiced some in the pool and then spent a half hour out in the ocean.  It was the two of us and three other guys in the group and this one big guy freaked out right at the beginning and went back on the boat.  That got Katie thinking she couldn't do it but then she went and had a blast!

Just can't keep up...

It's tough to keep up with the Jones if you are into that....BUT, it's even harder to keep up with the Rousselow's.  Case in point...Looking through the pics of Nellie's 2nd birthday, I came across photos of the little water inflatable that we got to go along with the party.  

Check out the body language and overall feeling of disappointment at our inflatable by this poor boy.  We got this thing specifically for the party but once it was blown up with as much lung capacity as my dad and I could muster, it's....it's...okay.  Poor guy.  If only he could be up in Tennessee with the Rousselow's because look at what our friends Monica and Tim got their son, Alex....just because it was summer!

 Holy smoke!  Look at this thing!!!!  Look at the sheer joy on Alex's face...and he isn't even at a party...just hanging in his backyard!!  His backyard that now works part time as an amusement park....FOR ALEX!  Katie, Nellie and I are hoping that Monica and Tim adopt us soon. Waaaaaaaarrrrrrr Eagle, HEY!

Well, we had a great time in Auburn and were sad to leave....but better on our wallets and waistlines that we only stay a few days at a time!  The game was a ton of fun and Nellie had a great time.  She especially loved Aubie and the band....Trumpets and drums are her favorites!  It was great to see Auburn again, but wow it has changed a lot!  We would often get disoriented because of all the new buildings that have gone up.  It also has a lot more high end restaurants, which was strange to us being that it is still a college town!  Our favorite wings places, that we were planning on eating at our first night in town, was closed down.  SO SAD!
